An attempt to watch the meteor shower at Broga

Another little crazy fun adventure with the Nutters, a night camping at Broga (again) and this time with an attempt to watch the meteor shower (predicted) on last Friday night. The hike also has actually made me witnessed a strong little girl climbed together with us. (One of our friend brought her daughter this time).

At 10pm ++, 13 of us marched towards Broga Hill with the head lamp and our backpack behind. On the way up, there were several young campers scattered around, waiting with their camera and telescope in hand, hoping to witness the meteor and perhaps to take some good photo.

Reaching at the peak we start setting up our tents while others making hot drinks. Earlier, there was some cloudy covering the sky but later the stars slowly appear and brighten the sky. We spent the night chitchatting, selfieing, photographing, stargazing, drinking coffee and napping, most of us decided to stay outside the tentsSome of us was fortunate enough to spot the meteor shower. We were rewarded with an amazing view and peaceful night until a bunch of hikers start climbing up as early as 5am, making noise and put us back into reality.

By 7am, the crowded is over flowing, we quickly pack and start heading down. While walking down, my eyes was offered with an amazing view from such a low hill. Lush valleys of rain forest and towns with the backdrop of mountains from the distance can be seen vibrantly.

Reaching at the carpark,  while the rest decided to go home, the four of us ready and gear up heading to Lepoh falls to continue the next adventure.
